Position Summary:

Responsible for all food production for our lounge or outlets. Develop menus, food purchase specifications and recipes. Maintain highest professional food quality and sanitation standards.

 

Education: Relevant College/University

Software skills :  Excel, Power point, Word, Retail system

English : Intermediate, or Toeic 450

 

Key Requirements/ qualities

Proven working experience as a head chef

Excellent record of kitchen management

Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently

Capable of delegating multiple tasks

Communication and leadership skills

Keep up with cooking trends and best practices

BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate

Job Functions:

Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities

Control good food quality and sanitation as well as attractive presentation

Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards if needed

Estimate food requirements and ingredients purchase

Supervise and organize kitchen staffs’ activities

Perform effective training for the staffs

Give prepared plates the “final touch”

Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation of the kitchen and relevant equipment

Keep time and payroll records for kitchen staffs

Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers

Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs

Recruit and manage kitchen staffs

Rectify arising problems or customer complaints if any
